DUVET COVERS

The quality of a duvet cover depends mainly on the thread count (TC) and the type of cotton, not just the thread count number. A well-woven 200-300 TC fabric made from high-quality cotton often offers better durability and feel than a fabric with a higher TC but lower-quality thread.

TC measures the number of threads (vertical and horizontal) per square inch of fabric. A higher TC does not always mean better quality—the weave density and yarn quality play an equally important role.

The cotton duvet cover has a matte, cool texture and is more breathable, making it ideal for those who sleep hot. The cotton sateen duvet cover is the same material (cotton) woven in a satin weave, which gives it a softer, smoother feel with a subtle sheen.

The duvet cover set includes the duvet cover and one or two pillowcases. The number of pillowcases depends on the size of the set.

The Hotel Line series evokes fabrics and finishes (satin/oxford, handstitch) similar to those used in hotels—usually high-thread-count cotton with meticulous stitching. It can also be used in a home setting, as there is no difference in usage, only in aesthetics.

The size of the duvet cover must match the dimensions of your duvet. Anemos offers sizes ranging from single (160x220cm) to King Size (260x240cm) to cover every type of bed.

The zipper offers the fastest and most secure seal, but it can wear out over time, often requiring the replacement of the entire mechanism. Snap buttons are more resistant to washing and quieter, while ties offer a more secure fit but take more time to tie properly. There is no objectively "best" choice—it depends on whether priority is given to speed, durability, or silent operation.

The internal ties are located at the four corners of the duvet cover and are tied to the corresponding loops on the duvet. Their purpose is to keep the duvet secure inside the cover so that it does not bunch up or slide to one side after a few nights of use.
